  1. So, it seems that the current owners had enough money from the crowdfunder to buy the plane, and to dismantle it for movement to another site, but not enough to reassemble it. (Source: various similar news reports from April 2022 found on Google). I cannot find any active fundraisers or campaigns to bridge that financial gap - does anyone know any more, as it seems almost criminal to let this old girl be recycled into pots and pans.
