  1. it's a long standing 'trick' from at least the days of world war one sniping (I think I have read it in Hesketh-Pritchard), and from my range days in the 80s, a damp t-shirt or scrim face veil was used on dry dusty ranges. I am surprised it's taken Ian that long to 'discover' it!
