Ian, and community - based on this very good video, is there any theoretical equation that says if the cartridge does THIS then the blowback parts will have to do THAT; ie if I wanted to make a 7.62mm NATO blowback weapon what would I theoretically need on the recoiling side of the equation to keep it safe? This is assuming no delayed blowback trickery or advanced primer ignition wizardry of course.
