I like that he delivered a lot of stuff Trump merely promised. Infrastructure, medicare negotiated drug prices, a boom in US manufacturing etc

that's exactly why he shouldn't run, he'll only take right leaning people from Trump. No lib is gonna vote for an anti vax guy, they worship fouchi

He's gonna be a lot of right leaning peoples vote, which is bad for trump

@danielw.2473 His only major legislative accomplishment was reducing taxes for other billionaires
1
@CommanderRedEXE no, the tiny middle class tax cut was temporary, the massive tax cut for the elite was permanent

@commonsense2667 The economy is doing great right now, GDP is great, unemployment is near record lows, real wages are up, inflation is low manufacturing investment is booming. And we just had the fastest and most robust economic recovery ever.

@nottoday4125 thousands of grants have already been awarded, i've seen more than one republican politician begging for one in his or her district despite having voted against it. And the manufacturing boom can be seen in the corporate investment, a lot of states have seen their biggest manufacturing investment ever. Head of US steel called this a manufacturing renaissance

@WatchTashi Those are just the social issues, they also vote for dems on the economic issues.

@Michael-cr2rn Look at the manufacturing investment, we've never seen anything like it. Trump abandoned his promise to let medicare negotiate drug prices after meeting with big pharma lobbyists, very sad. And Trumps good economy was pre-covid, when he didn't need to do anything. The economy collapsed under him, and joe fixed his mess

@commonsense2667 I didn't say people felt good about the economy, i said the economy was doing well. The two don't need to align, the public is influenced by all sorts of things, and most just repeat whatever the media tells them. The fact that 57% of people believe unemployment is a problem right now proves this, we have near record low unemployment rates right now 😅 And no, people working second jobs has no baring on the employment rate. They are counted once regardless of how many jobs they have. The fact that you made that claim proves you're either as sheepish and misinformed as the average voter or just a partisan making bad faith criticisms Also, it is perfectly fine to celebrate a reduction in the rate of increase, since disinflation is a good thing. Especially considering wages have outstripped inflation over the past year
