@theceltbeserk1 there are enough checks and balances. The minority already has tremendous power in government, democrats represent millions more people than republicans. California only gets the same number of senators as Wyoming even tho california has tens of millions more people. The filibuster stops either party getting anything done in a bipartisan way. So while I agree there are some things wrong with the system, reconciliation is not one of them

DC would be a state, the number of senators for a state would depend on the population, and there would be no filibuster. You guys in the minority are well protected, a little too protected if you ask me.

Multiple reports have shown that he met with Russians while running for president and that Russians interferes with the 2016 election. We’ve got the transcript of him trying bribe foreign leaders to investigate his political opponents. We know he tried to defund the usps to try an make sure mail ballots arrived late. Not to mention him telling pence to thrown out millions of democratic votes which culminated in his supporters storming the capitol.
