  1. 9:17, this is wrong. The US government doesn't get its money from taxes. Federal taxes are debited out of existence upon payment, they don't actually go anywhere. The money we use to pay taxes comes from the government in the first place, so it doesn't make sense to say tax payers fund the government. Also, government "borrowing" is paid for by the governments own deficit spending.

  3.  @PedroLuis-LivingTheDream  I didn't say the gov makes value, i said they create the money. As a result, taxation does not pay for anything the government does. They make us pay the tax to create demand for their currency. If you paid your federal taxes in cash, they'll throw your money in a shredder. And not, printing money is inherently inflationary
