That’s how ground breaking that was. It speaks to just how corrupt trump was not only to be impeached twice but to have that many of his own people willing to go with it. And it’s not like he’s unpopular among republicans, he’s one of the most popular among repubs ever. So imagine how crooked you have to be to have that many people from your own party choose getting primaried over letting you get away with your corruption And no, he wasn’t acquitted in the senate along party lines, 7 republicans supporter the impeachment. A party line vote is would be where only the democrats voted for it
