If she barely lost last time without these new people and with kemp using his powers as Secretary of State to suppress the vote, what makes you think he can win this time? Sure he won the primary, but he won as much as he did because Purdue wasn’t really that invested in the race, he only spent 500k 😂 when he was running for senator he spent tens of millions. Beating a candidate that doesn’t even care about the race is a whole different ball game than winning a general against Stacey. Georgia is shifting blue rapidly, we elected 2 dem senators and voted for biden in 2020

  19.  @FishnChips136  voter suppression isn’t determined by turn out, it’s determined by the number of people that are turned away or leave voluntarily due to extremely long lines. It’s determined by the number of obstacles to voting. There can be record turn out, but if thousands of people leave the lines due to 8 hours of waiting, if machines are missing outlets, if people are having their ballot applications canceled (all of which happened in 2018) then that is suppression

  20.  @FishnChips136  That’s not true, millions of people have been added to the rolls since 2018, theres more than enough leeway for voter participation to increase, while continuing to make voting so difficult that thousands of people refrain from doing so

  21.  @FishnChips136  There have been a lot of voter mobilization efforts that have led to Georgia being the most registered state in the country, this is what led to the high turn out. Unless you're suggesting getting rid of voting places and reducing early voting days is what increased participation. And none of this is to say there wont be significant problems in november. General elections are a whole other ball game. If the general election goes as smoothly as the primary, it's safe to say we'll have ourselves a new governor
