  1. it did go up because of Russia, and it will go up anytime something happens around the world because its a global commodity, We need to switch to renewable so we're not beholden to a highly volatile global commodity

  2.  @ledhalenV  Not true, if increasing the money supply always leads no inflation, then we would have seen high inflation throughout the 2010's because the money supply was always high during that time, yet the fed was struggling to get inflation up to the target 2%. Also Japan has been running massive deficits for decades and was actually dealing with deflation not inflation

  3. ​ @lawrencegregory8737  I'm not saying we should have 100% of our grid reliant on renewable, just that it should be a larger part of it. Energy diversification is a strength. The transition away from fissile fuels doesn't need to be abrupt

  5.  @ledhalenV  The stimulus checks are not what is driving current inflation, if it were you would see little inflation in countries that gave far less in Europe and no inflation in countries that gave nothing like mexico. But inflation is just as bad or worse in those places. Also, our currency isn't controlled by a private bank

Sure we were producing all the oil we needed, but that oil wasn't being sold here in america. The oil companies have no obligations to sell domestically. That's why even under trump we were importing millions of barrels a day from canda and mexico
