Cus your only a legit president when you have 2 terms. Trump is a twice impeached lameduck. Hardly a real president
2
@AmericaIsWorthIt so? Doesn’t matter if he was acquitted. The fact he was impeached twice will show the world for hundreds of years how corrupt and incompetent he was
2
@Jin-Rohhh yall still coping about that election? Your boy got spanked, move on
1
@AmericaIsWorthIt no it doesn’t lol the trials were in the senate; and republicans had a majority. They’re obviously not gonna convict their own president. Not rocket science
1
@johnwelch615 trump was impeached twice buddy, and a 1 term president. That’s all history will remember him for. Cope
1
@johnwelch615 he definitely tried to make aid contingent on digging up dirt in his political opponents. Definitely worry of impeachment. Imagine being so corrupt that you get impeached twice 😭
1
@supertrashgamergirl2690 the 2nd impeachment was actually bipartisan. Trump really was a joke
1
@supertrashgamergirl2690 pretty sure 10 republicans voted overall for the impeachment. That’s the most bipartisan impeachment in the countries history so heck yeah it was bipartisan
1
@johnwelch615 dude, he heavily implied it was contingent on that investigation. We have the transcript

@supertrashgamergirl2690 having 10 different republicans willing to impeach the leader of their own party is completely unprecedented and likely will never happen again. That’s how ground breaking that was. It speaks to just how corrupt trump was not only to be impeached twice but to have that many of his own people willing to go with it. And it’s not like he’s unpopular among republicans, he’s one of the most popular among repubs ever. So imagine how crooked you have to be to have that many people from your own party choose getting primaried over letting you get away with your corruption And no, he wasn’t acquitted in the senate along party lines, 7 republicans supporter the impeachment. A party line vote is would be where only the democrats voted for it

@supertrashgamergirl2690 I think you’re underestimating how big a deal it is for any republicans to vote for impeachment at all. These things are usually done strictly along party lines. The fact it wasn’t says a lot. Biden might have supported the status quo in the senate but he’s actually working on some pretty ground breaking stuff at the moment in his reconciliation bill. I voted for him pretty reluctantly because he was a little too far right for my liking but he’s honestly impressed me since he came in. If this reconciliation bill passes it will be the biggest investment in the working people of this country in a long time. Trump used reconciliation to pass tax cuts for his rich golf buddies, Biden is actually trying to do stuff for the people. Didn’t see that coming. And as for the debt ceiling, that is a completely self imposed constraint. It’s unnesasry, as we’ve seen time and time again over the passed few administrations. Remember Mitch saying that there was no chance they wouldn’t raise the debt ceiling to fund the tax cuts for the rich? Now all of a sudden he’s against raising it 😂 that’s rich. Inflation has actually come down recently which confirms the consensus among republicans that it was transitory. Our medical system is strained because of far right lunatics who are refusing to get vaccinated and taking up precious space in these hospitals. If it were up to me people coming in for covid would be sent home. You chose not to get the vaccine, enjoy your freedom to die. What do you mean he’s trying to nationalize medication stockpiles? Are you talking about the immensely popular provision that would let Medicare negotiate with pharmaceutical companies on drug prices? The provision that was estimated by the CBO to reduce drug prices by as much as 70%?
