He'll continue not understanding it until florida is swallowed by the sea

we are drilling for american oil tho, in fact more so than trump did. It's just that the greedy corporations are not selling here
2
@nadinelee1191 it's pretty funny to see Floridians of all people denying this reality. They'll believe soon enough

global warming isn't just about rising sea levels, it's about more energy being trapped in the earths system which results in more extreme weather events.
1
@MC-pz3ps No ones saying the weather didn't fluctuate in the past, we're saying all the carbon we're pumping into the atmosphere is disrupting the natural cycles and making it trap more and more heat
1
@MC-pz3ps You're right, there was a ridiculous amount of smog and pollution in LA back in the day, and it's a lot better now. Why? Because they made environmental laws. The Clean Air Act, the prohibition of leaded gasoline and catalytic converter mandates all helped. But it was the gasoline standards imposed by the California government in 1996 that had the biggest impact. It created much stricter standards about how gasoline can be blended, and only a few refineries are able to produce it's special blend to state standards. It's a big reason gas is so expensive there. What does this have to do with global warming though?
1
@MC-pz3ps the things you mentioned are part of the natural system, pumping all the extra carbon in the atmosphere on top of that is not natural and will cause imbalance
1
carbon causes climate change, it just so happens burning gasoline causes that
1
Lindzen accepts that man mad global warming is happening
1
Not true at all, it's a 100% science, there are countless peer reviewed papers on it
1
@betsydonis5134 so everyone who disagrees with you is a member of the deep state? maybe the scientists are just publishing what they're finding? half of Pakistan was under water the other week
1
they're not forcing it, they're trying to make it more reliable and cheaper than dirty alternatives
1
@Trollkungen1 not at all, but we need politicians to help make renewable energy more affordable than dirty fossil fuels. Completely denying anything is happening is incredibly dangerous. Our harvests are already failing and our rivers are already drying up
1
@lagatha1037 which climate activists were those?
1
@lagatha1037 difference between lands that could flood, and saying places should already be flooded. Of course lands could flood, just look at pakistan
1
@lagatha1037 until it's not. And there are many other factors to consider beyond sea levels. Our rivers are drying up, land becoming less and less productive. And then there are the topping points, if any of these tipping points are reached, they'll set off chain reactions no one is prepared for. Check out the new paper on it
1
that's wy we need renewable energy sources
1
they are giving solution, they're trying to make renewable energy cheaper than dirty fossil fuels.

what is the difference between an america first republican and a rino? They're both in favor of giving massive tax breaks to large corporations, they both believe in the the trickle down economics scam, they're both for neoliberalism and they're both for austerity. Only difference i can see is one group kisses trumps ass and the other doesn't
1
@jamesbryson575 you haven't explained it tho
