I challenge you guys to find a clip of her saying that
4
Exactly. They like to ignore all the voting places and drop boxes that have been removed as well as the reduced voting hours and days

@ministryoftruth1451 find me one clip then 🤷♂️
1
@ministryoftruth1451 well you’re gonna have to find me a quote of her actually saying it or it can’t have been well documented...

What about getting rid of polling places and cutting voting hours and early voting days?
1
She didn’t tho....
1
It’s a fact the hundreds of voting places have been closed down in minority neighborhoods in Georgia’s. It’s a fact they cut down on voting hours, early voting days and drop boxes
1
Why don’t they accept studen ID’s in Texas then?
1
The problem is republicans removing voting places in black neighborhoods, reducing voting hours, early voting days and drop boxes. That’s clear voter suppression
1
Doing what?
1
ID isn’t the problem, the problem is removing voting places and drop boxes while reducing voting houses and early voting days
1
Voter suppression is very real and has a long history, voter fraud is virtually non existent
1
I get the ID’s but why cut down on voting hours and early voting days? Why cut down on voting places and drop boxes?
1
Red and blue states depend on each other. Red states are poor and need to be subsidized by the rich blue states, but red states make the food

@tommytwotoes3880 The ID’s aren’t even the biggest problem. Republicans keep getting rid of voting places and drop boxes in minority neighborhoods. They’ve also reduced voting hours and early voting days. And they’ve made it illegal to give snacks to people who have been waiting in line for hours. They’re trying to make it as hard as possible to vote
1
@tommytwotoes3880 why is it certain people have to work harder at their rights than others? That shouldn’t be acceptable in this day and age. Statistically richer whiter areas spend way less time waiting in line to vote; that’s intentional. Not everyone can afford to travel super long distances to a new voting place, not everyone can afford to stay in line for 5,6,7 hours. And as for mail in voting, republicans have made that harder to do as well. They cut the time you’re allowed to apply for a mail in ballot. And Republicans just passed the law banning snack for people in line the the other day, look it up. It’s clearly undemocratic and designed to stop certain people from voting.

@tommytwotoes3880 I suggest not getting rid of hundreds of polish places in minority neighborhoods..... I suggest not cutting voting hours and early voting days I suggest not cutting the number or drop boxes available to the public or passing laws where you can only have one per county I suggest not reducing the time you can apply for mail ballots or getting rid of voting options like drive through voting I suggest not making it illegal to give snacks to people who’ve been waiting in line all day What a strange question. If you mean “sure the republicans are suppressing the vote, so what are you gonna do about it” then at lease accept the premise before we move on to our path forward. You skipped that part. the solution is for congress to pass the “For the People Act” which will ban this kind of voter suppression from the republicans. These republicans wouldn’t be getting away with this if the voting rights act hadn’t been dismantled by the right wing Supreme Court in 2012 And as for those organizations that drive people to voting places, the republicans tried to go afte them too. They tried to pass a law banning Sunday voting, which is when many church initiatives organize “souls to the polls” events and drive people to the polls
1
@tommytwotoes3880 yeah, it’s a Republican against democrat thing in that the republicans are suppressing the vote to increase their chances of winning... You couldn’t even believe they outlawed giving out snacks 5 minutes ago and now you’re justifying it by saying rich people don’t get snacks either? Rich people don’t wait in line for 7-8 hours, they don’t need snacks.... Before you were saying “so what if they got rid of your voting place, just vote” And now you’re saying “so what if you’re poor, just be rich” 😂 it’s hard to believe you’re not trolling with such simplistic arguments. You’re either extremely disingenuous or plain stupid You came across as a reasonable person in your first comment, which is why ive been wasting time responding to you. Turns out you’re just another partisan hack pushing your own warped agendas. Have a good day ✌️🤙

Were it. It for voter suppression she’s be governor right now. And far fewer people would be dead from the virus in Georgia
