he has refused to expand medicaid. That funding wouldve kept it afloat

@dougsholly9323 medicaid funding would've massively increased the hospitals bottom line and reduced costs. There's a gap between those who can afford their own healthcare and those who receive medicaid, so congress created medicaid expansion to cover that gap. After all, those poor folks still go to the hospital when they get sick. Only the hospitals don't get reimburse for treating them like they would in a state that has expanded medicaid. Kemp has refused to accept the $3.5B Georgia would draw down if they expanded medicaid. Thats money we've already paid into that Kemp is refusing to let us utilize for no coherent reason, even as hospitals like AMC drop left right and center
