Let's start with the supreme court

He's clearly the better candidate since he beat Oz by 5 points in a state Biden only won by 1

@mrrey8937 Sure, but keeping the status quo in a midterm year with an unpopular president and record inflation is a massive history defying victory for democrats. Real clear politics had republicans getting 54 seats. And Dems could actually do better than the status quo since Warnock will probably win re-election without Kemp on the ballot. They were supposed to get destroyed but only lost a handful of seats in the house, potentially gained a senator, netted 2 governors and 4 trifecta's. Broke a Republican trifecta in Arizona and the Only governorship republicans flipped is in Nevada, where dems have a veto proof super majority. That's no red flood

@mrrey8937 Funded candidates like Kari Lake lost too, as well as all these maga secretaries of state. Joe Kent lost a safe republican seat despite not having a funding disadvantage. And democrats won almost every toss up house seat of the election, that goes far beyond Mitch's funding.

@mrrey8937 Didn't y'all say Zeldin would win? That aged well 😅 And sure, republican's picked up a few seats in new york, but those guys will probably vote with Biden to avoid getting washed out in 24. Dems still ahve their super majorities there. Mitch not wasting money on crap candidates isn't why you did so badly. Your house candidates had plenty of money and lost almost every toss up seat available . I wouldn't be talking about the governors either if i were you because that was another disaster for republicans You guys are screwed in 24 too, Michigan and PA are dem strong holds now, and you need them to win. Trump will be handed his 4th L in a row

@fm32047 how about term limits apply to all of them?

Given how massively democrats won in Michigan and PA, i don't see a path for Trump or Desantis in 24
