  1. and these buffoons don't realize there's no mathematical way to balance the budget without throwing the private sector into recession. The private sector can only get it's surplus by drawing it from either the government or the rest of the world in the form of exports. It can't draw it from the rest of the world due to our large trade deficit (thanks to our reserve currency status) so it must draw it from the government.
