  1. The war was over long ago. The USA leaving made no  No NO sense. We needed a permanent base in Afghanistan because IT'S NOT ABOUT AFGHANISTAN. The  NATO forces, lead  by just 2500 American troops kept the terrorists threat neutralized. China was out, Russia was out, Pakistan was out, the Taliban was out of power, ISIS was out of power, the other 16 terrorist klans were out. We had closer eyes on China, Russia  Pakistan, and Iran.
