That sentence doesn't make sense. Zelenskiy is the president, so of course it's "illegal" for other Ukrainians to negotiate with Putin over his head. He doesn't have to "make" it illegal, that's just how the chain of command works. In any case, Putin has told us his conditions for "peace", and it's "pretend we won the war and give us everything we wanted out of it", which is obviously unacceptable. So what is there to talk about?

@Princip666 Which of his arguments' premises do you take issue with? You do understand the difference between making an argument, as Nielsen did, and making a bald claim, as this commenter did, right?

He's a military analyst in the Danish navy. Surely it would be Danish propaganda, if anything.

It's not the "thought police", it's YouTube's brainless content moderation algorithm. They would never spend the money on an actual human thought police. It deletes comments that have too high a density of "advertiser-unfriendly" words, regardless of context. Doesn't matter if you're for or against [bad thing], as long as you describe it in explicit terms, the comment gets removed. Talking about war is always risky in that regard.

You really should have googled the man before writing this comment, Joel.

@Finnishguy777 YouTube's content moderation algorithm is entirely brainless, from what I can tell. If your comment contains too many "advertiser-unfriendly" words, regardless of context, it'll be deleted. Doesn't even matter if you're advocating for [bad thing] or speaking out against [bad thing], if you describe it in explicit terms the hammer comes down. When there's some sort of big controversy or crisis going on they turn it up higher, so it gets even more false positives. Talking about war is always risky in that regard.

@karldubhe8619 How was 1918 the "fall of imperialism" in Europe? It was empires fighting each other, where some empires won, while other empires lost.

@Princip666 Their username is "Mr. V. Granfield". But more pertinently, are they really concerned because a professional military analyst looks sly? He's supposed to be sly!

@Princip666 Ooh, a body language expert. Are you going to administer a polygraph test next? Hire a medium? And pretending to be stupid for the sake of argument isn't a good strategy. If somebody has a normal personal name as their username, of course the implication is that that's their real-life name. You know this.
