I mean, let's compare the combined GDP of everybody who sided against Putin, the GDP of Putin's allies (which would be, uh, North Korea I guess?) and the GDP of the countries that are trying to stay out of it and play both sides, like China and India.

@tiefensucht "You know that Ukraine already has collapsed and relies 100% on western money? Russia has a lot more time." The West can bankroll Ukraine indefinitely if it wants to. Russia has a smaller GDP than Italy, the collective West has infinitely deeper pockets. So it's purely a question of the political will.

He's a military analyst for the Danish military, his entire job is to "do research" on this issue. How about you, how much time do you spend "doing research" on the war in Ukraine? Would you say it's more or less than a full-time job's worth?

@rayzerot Well, by "Nazi" he means anybody who believes that Ukraine is, or should be, a separate nation from Russia. Because according to Putin that idea was planted in the minds of the people of Little Russia by Nazis and Nazi collaborators. In other words, "denazification" means the cultural annihilation of Ukraine and turning it into a Russian puppet state.

"Putin doesn’t want all of Ukraine - why lie? The peace plan he offered was only to keep the Oblasts who voted to join Russia." Anders explains this. Putin wants to annex some of Ukraine, and turn the rest of it into a Russian puppet state -- that's what "denazification" means, the removal of anybody from the government who thinks that Ukraine is a separate nation from Russia. Because according to Putin, that idea was planted in the impressionable minds of the people of Little Russia by Nazis and Nazi collaborators. "Why shouldn’t the Oblasts be able to vote?" Even if those elections had been free, fair and secret (which they obviously weren't), you don't get to invade another country and then hold an "election" in the occupied territories to legitimize your land grab. Like, if the US dropped paratroopers in the North Caucasus or Siberia and polled the ethnic minorities there if they wanted their own separate states, do you think Russia should be forced to abide by the outcome? "They should just sit back and accept genocide?" Casualties in the fighting between 2014 and the full Russian invasion were very low. There was occasional low-intensity shelling from both sides, and sometimes somebody got hit by a stray shell. Calling that a "genocide" is ridiculous.

The biolabs thing is a very stupid conspiracy myth. If the US were developing bioweapons for use against Russia they'd do it back home, where it's easy to keep the research safe and secret, not in Ukraine within easy reach of Russian agents and weapons. And Putin doesn't care about Nazis, there are loads of them in his own military. Hell, Wagner was founded by a neo-Nazi.

@luffebassen How about you answer the question instead of copy-pasting your conspiracy manifesto? What does Putin want?
