@alkair422 Whoever I am is irrelevant to the topic at hand, real love is chemicals in your brain. But love as a human concept is indeed a bit more philosophical, things like relationships, but then again that is predicated upon evolutionary drives. Might I ask what made you think that I failed at love? Seems like quite the general statement, from my experience almost everyone fails at love, it is extremely rare to meet a couple that has been together since they first started their relationship, meanwhile divorce rates are going up. Love inevitably creates feelings of jealousy, hatred and envy. No love might create loneliness but that is if you are a needy person that always wants external validation. For some friends is enough to fill the void. Also, women don't love men in the same way men love men, both members of the species have different concepts of love. Men love for love sake, that is how they have been conditioned by their mothers since they were infants. Women, on the other hand, have been conditioned that to be loved is to receive, when they become older there is continuity of love, since men are willing to be givers and providers. Meanwhile, there is a discontinuity for the men-concept of love, that is the result of how women have been thought to love. Both concepts are diametrically opposed, and I haven't even started on the evolutionary psychology elements! Offspring is EVERYTHING for a woman. The only woman that will ever love as a man loves, is his mother. Anyway, I am rambling.
