@sockruhtease Intelligence as measured by science is the capacity of your brain's processing power. It has nothing to do with being a good or bad person or whether you can explain stuff to kids. These are all just blanket statements and most of the time they are uttered to make other people feel better about themselves or to one up others. Also admitting to know or not knowing in not intelligence it is wisdom. Intelligence is brain power. That's it.

Intelligence is brain power. It isn't how well you can explain this. And every brain is unique, he may be a math and pattern genius but maybe his linguistic parts of the brain lack and thus he struggles with explaining. Another case which is also interesting is people with extremely high linguistic capacity are often the ones struggling to communicate the most because they way the create sentences and the words they use are just levels above the norm. They can't turn it off.
