  1. I remember going to my first interview ever. I was about 15 or 16 for a parttime job in a supermarket. I was overthinking it since it was my first job interview ever and decided to go very well dressed. Not suit level but a level below. The interviewer was however wearing a suit, he seemed very impressed with my first impression and showed a half smile. I did eventually get the job and worked there for 3 or 4 years until adulthood.

  2. Dressing well does make a difference. I had a similar experience where me and my friend had to go our parttime store for a moment to take care of a schedule. This was right before we went to prom, so we were very well dressed. We were just walking around the store and elderly people kept asking questions about promotions, products etc because they thought we were the managers lmao. We were about 20 or something.
