  5. Actually they do. Silicon molecules and metall ions enter the corps of an animal after the death. And of this happens under o2 poor conditions the body doesnt root as quick as usualy. So the minerals shortly replace organic matter.

  7.  @danieldavis9348  you can debunk this by sealing leafes airtight into foil. Foil because mud doesnt often work as good. If you seal them airtight. And ass some presure for good mesure, you csn preserve them for decades. I must know. I did it in elemantery biology class. 20 years later they almost are as good as the first day.

  8.  @danieldavis9348  fossilasation is rare and inly happens under ideal conditions yes. 99.999 % of prgsnisms will just vanish. But with luck they are preserved. The process of mineralasation takes millions of years.

And nope they are Not faked. Once again. Leaves and even whole plants indeed kann be fossilized. Accept it or not.
