  6. The end-goal is a totally autonomous system, which won’t require driver (passenger) oversight. To be a successful robotaxi, passengers can’t be expected to participate in the operation of the vehicle. Will it get there? One of these years, perhaps, but it’s obviously been much more difficult than engineers/developers AND investors anticipated. Think of all the billions that have been wasted on this tech by companies that have now backed out of actively cultivating this technology.
