  3. I don’t see the attraction of a robotaxi unless they can be considerably cheaper than a cab or Uber. I don’t need cabs often, but when I do, what is on the street now works great. That said, I feel Tesla’s approach to self-driving will result in a more widely beneficial and flexible product than Waymo or any such system being developed for taxi service only. Autonomous service in personal vehicles is as much if not more important than its use in robotaxis.
