  2. The German Army did not run out of oil it ran out of soldiers. By the end of September’41 their elite SS units were suffering a 25% causality rate which is unsustainable. Couple this with the massive strategic blunder of not outsourcing plane and tank production to Italy , France , Sweden and Norway. Germany ran out of men as early as Operation Typhoon the assault on Moscow sept 30, ‘ 41 . It was over . Oil is akin to the same rationale Germans used for the reason they lost in WW 1
