  1.  @marusdod3685  Corporates cleverly manipulated/brainwashed people against Stallman and free software movement so they could control the narrative. Stallman was right pretty much about everything so I have huge respect for the guy. I'm not calling Linux Gnu/Linux, but I try to support the free software movement. Stallman > Torvalds , even though I really like Torvalds.

  2.  @Zephyrus0  I think it was many "corporate moles" who probably got some nice money from the biggest players on the field. Free software movement would have been devastating as the knowledge about Linux spread and thus the knowledge about free software ideas would have spread. But now it was just open source and the amount of people focusing on the moral issues was tiny AF. I think it must have been hell for Stallman to see things kind of hijacked.
