Trying to get people into alternative platforms is one of the most important things you can do. Odysee for example will download all of your content automatically from Youtube and it's censorship free, also it pays well. Couple channels who I know well get less than 10% of the views of Youtube there, but still get paid better. It's impossible to fix Youtube, so the only possibility is to get enough people on the alternative platforms that important topics will get widespread audience. It really is that simple. Trying to get people into the alt platforms can be achieved by extra content, which could be the content that is impossible to have on Youtube, having videos extra early there, and obviously pleading people to follow you on the alternative platforms. Explaining the benefits to people and why it's important to go to other platforms is key. Though obviously that's perhaps dangerous strategy. It has to be done carefully.
