Ubuntu LTS version is perfect for people like my parents who use only LibreOffice and Firefox. Stability and long term maintenance is everything. Perhaps Ubuntu might focus on having only LTS versions and rolling release version. Maybe have LTS version once a year and ditch the current naming scheme, call it Ubuntu 2021 LTS. Or perhaps ditch that LTS because now every version is LTS, except "Ubuntu Roll" (insert better name here) that would be the rolling release version. Another thing that I would love to have is network installer that would allow me to choose everything that Ubuntu installs. That could be made really simple for noobs, just communicate that "not changing anything installs the default version" and thus have all the default things marked for installation. I absolutely loved Debian's netinstall, Ubuntu could do it even better if they put some efforts to it.
