  1. I love Debian for supporting all the CPU architectures. I think supporting old hardware is very important aspect of Linux. After all world is drowning in old hardware and there are tons of usecases where old hardware is enough. I inherited ancient Pentium II 333mhz 384mb laptops. Those have chargers build in them, so you can use just power cord. Because those laptops had parallel ports, those could be used with some car tuning equipment and other "garage hardware", so I installed minimalist Linux to couple of those and donated them to my friend. This was almost decade ago, and they are still in use. Those laptops are from 1998. I would love to see some distro that is solely focused on bringing as many old computers to life as possible. That would have all the possible drivers, and possible GUIs in the installation media. So that it would be the go-to distro for making any old/ancient computer usable again without hacking, because you don't want to spend much time for getting old hardware to work.
