  1. That reason is called censorship. Google is brainwashing people the way they give search results, and on youtube the same thing, but here it's even worse. Most channels that I followed are gone. Every important topic gets censored. Mainstream media gets promoted 10x vs. independent creators. Youtube has betrayed the creators and their audience so badly.

  2. I don't think LBRY is the best Youtube alternative. It might be the most popular, but not the best. In any case, it's really important that people are on Youtube promoting the alternative. So upload everything on LBRY and/or other alternative service and upload the videos later to youtube. In each video, say that you release the videos earlier on the other service, and ask people to check that out. That's the only way to make people acknowledge the alternatives.
