  1. I'm happy. My insane hobby to optimize Gentoo just gave me reasons to celebrate. Gentoo testing branch with zero day sources, GentooLTO overlay with Link time optimization, 0fast, bunch of other flags not yet included, PGO. And with some hard tuning, Mate Desktop with all the laptop related drivers, wifi, virtualization, and finally it all takes just 190MB. When you take into account that these aggressive flags actually increase the size quite a bit, and thus memory usage, I'm like a happy parent watching my little penguin getting leaner and faster =)
