  1. I truly hope Rust will evolve into ever more performance oriented language. Though I hope Linus Torvalds and Linux developers are careful, extra careful. While I trust Linus for the most part, I think him bending the knee for the hate mob was really worrying thing. Code of Conducts are just insanity and the only thing those are used is to harash people and getting justification of removing people and changing the course of projects. With this one I hope they are truly careful.

  2. Who dares to cry in Gentoo? Gentoo is the most awesomest thing ever =) Currently compiling Firefox with LTO, PGO, Graphite, 0fast and half a dozen of other flags GentooLTO overlay turns on. Gotta say it's not the nicest things to do, but damn the end result is blazing fast. Nothing beats Gentoo Linux.
