  1. At my farmers market the eggs from happy chicken still cost pretty much the same. ....... not so next door at the supermarket. If you just let them be ( within reason) They feed themselves. It's all that fertilizer, medications and feed that drives up cost. Cows can walk themselves to the grass meadow and fertilize it while they are there. If it wasn't for food stamps we would have riots on the street. This way it's just killing the ones that are too busy trying to make it to demonstrate.
