Protect police from frivolous lawsuits but not from breaking the law. " is it frivolous? "
3
@Ballosopheraptor yup

@t.c.2776 everyone remember that it's not a new thing. I used to get vip passes "texted" to my phone when I lived in germany in the mid 90s. That's 30y ago. :-)

@keithe2150 pretty certain ethics is part of continuing education.
2
If the corporation pays its taxes. .... no its a bad idea. Because the people in the corporation already get to vote.
2
All the Floridans ( especially new ones) buy summer escapes up there
2
I bet there Facebook page had lots of angry posts ..... and even more afterwards.
2
They would have a different attitude if they had to pay her legal fees if she wins.
2
Tow companies are a problem for decades. One industry that needs mor oversight.
2
The surprise he had when he couldn't buy a person. Poor guy. Born in the wrong millennium
2
Again - we already have criminal forfeiture. Civil forfeiture is theft. Fbi, police and judges are nothing but common criminals.
2
Take a video when you pic it up and one when you drop it off. Everyone has a phone.
2
😂 our legal system is joke and the normal people suffer. .... thats our rate that goes up.
2
Great way of stealing it if you can instruct it to follow to a dark alley - to rob the driver.
2
As long as you don't type in all caps it's ok.
2
Reality is funnier than the onion.
2
Instead of protecting user from intrusive information gathering - we are just concerned about China. Remember Snowden?
2
I'm surprised that money can go missing without anyone noticing. It's a sign that you have too much money. I guess there is no more saving so they can buy a 3rd van etc. ( example)
2
Don't waive your right to a speedy trial. .... I know there are problems with this too especially for notions to suppress.
2
@jasonbourne1596 you have to steal the right way. Get in trouble real quick if you don't pay your cut to the big guy ( unrelated)
2
If a judge makes such a big mistake he should not be allowed to to work
2
Just have extra charge. Are there weight an specis restrictions?
2
Good one 👍
2
The nazis had courts and judges too
2
Sounds more like an impact fee . ..do they have to provide water/sewer ? .... no a fee for issuing the permit. The county wants to be able to spend the money on other things. ( not good)
2
@user-rl7lq9ny6w a river is different than land runoff. Otherwise old community's could require new development to take care of their runoff and not be required to install their own drainage system. If you build a new house , you are not responsible for your neighbors runoff that used to flood your empty lot. But is it actually the farmers water ? Edit: also what's on the other side of the road . A simple drainage pipe under the road could be the solution to ( your point) historic waterflow
2
Haven't heard about him lately. A story that kept on giving.
2
@bradenculver7457 not cool . We just assume that they were part of build and any loose Lego were stored away, out of sight. ... correct 😃
2
There was a really great discussion on "all in " podcast on the ( near) future of ai This is the year the internet started and the first smart phone came out all at once. We will change more in the next 5y than we did in the last 30. ......ofcause government will realize needs to regulate way too late. ( I'm not big on regulations) Edit: in 5y 75% of lawyers will have become obsolete.
2
@GeorgeWashingtonLaserMusket I know people that park in no parking sections and see it as a preferential parking fee. If you're going 150 over and only get a speeding picture , 10k isn't that much if you were driving your 3 mil car.
2
@thadrepairsitall1278 I'm not endorsing it - just a observation of what makes courts act. ( FYI the Minnesota cop has been moved to a medium fed prison in Arizona - nice for him)
2
Probably had a problem with self-serve electricity. It would make much more sense if the pump person could process payments and didn't have to go inside.
2
Once in a while? We wouldn't have civil forfeiture and professional immunity without judges .
2
When you find them
2
@zag288 like you stated... the independent contractor. I used to drive for Uber until I noticed they changed incentives to figure out the least amount to pay driver while still having just enough show up. That was about 18 months ago. I stopped driving 16 months ago. It's your own fault if you can't figure out that you're not actually making any money.
2
.... auto generat incident #. That one is easy
2
I wonder how many can be found with the advertising still attached. Just FYI.. you want to transport cars on roll on off ships ( roro)
2
@johnnylong6289 I don't it has anything to do with "average American " and more about judges having alliance with police, city etc. That's why so many cases get overturned once they no longer are decided by local judges.
2
That's not a bad idea. Porsche used to offer a weekend of driver training when you bought a new 993. Making that mandatory would also bring the driver some joy. It came with a day at the Salzburg ring, driving more challenging than you will ever do again
2
They tried to claim immunity for a dog that they don't own? ( beginning)
2
The headline should read " judge charched .... " not just being fired.
2
@markallen2984 immunity should have to be granted rather than the other way around. Ofcause frivolous lawsuits can be dismissed rather quickly.
2
@joshuagibson2520 misunderstanding - I can't believe this hasn't been resolved after they discovered that the fbi intended to keep the money all along.
2
Schools should teach children that the police is going to lie to them and that they should not talk or otherwise interact with law enforcement.
2
@radicalrick9587 so there is no communal property? Tennis, extra green space, etc?
2
@radicalrick9587 so no cumunal space.... but what are your city ordinances ? Many times they are nearly as strict as hoa rules , in areas that don't have many hoa's ...the city next to me doesn't allow pickup trucks with company logo in the driveway,... amongst many other "little " over the top rules . .... not arguing just pointing out that many times hoa provide a more regulated environment for the ones that like it so the rest can be more free.
2
@MarieAnne. no, because some get to live in their hoa instead of lobbying the entire city to adopt more rules . Example I made before, city next door doesn't allow pickup trucks with company logo in the driveway.
2
@thewaywardwind548 like I pointed out before, otherwise the lobby the city or county government for more restrictions ... like cars in the driveway, mobile homes can't be visible from the street.... all the way to uniform roof coverings. You know they will scream the loudest. Plenty of city's out there that are as restricted as some hoa's
2
I wonder if you can use it for commercial purposes
