Did they have a (their own) real estate agent ? .... with the new commission laws there will be more and more buyers without representation. Lot for sale : do your own due diligence up to the seller disclosing if there is anything on that lot that's an issue ( sink hole, asbestos buried) Asking the status of the access is something the buyer has to ask.
