  2. Rescued from the mountain with a broken leg - v- soldiers freed the hostages from terrorist compound. I think freed works better because it implies captivity.

  3. I don't see the problem. Freed by IDF. Rescued sounds to me more like the person got lost.

  4. @user-jr9fy1qm7e  so the big lie is a possible wrong Facebook page and that the name might not have been in the original list of hostages? Did the idf need a success story and invent the rescue? Give that Israel will not stop until all hostages are found I don't see the purpose. I could also not find a single publication that questions the facts. Usually there is someone making a compelling case. Ther is no sufficient "why" to justify the the effort.
