@HolgerJakobs : Is , i am swabian, Muttern used as plural or is this in my swabian region unknown ,bei Muttern' only a more northern dialect word for ,your/my mother'? In my dialect Muadr ( singular)/ Miadr ( plural).

Forgotten : Ochsenfurt/Oxford .

@HolgerJakobs : No! Leiter can mean ladder or leader. In case of ladder : Singular : Die Leiter ( in swabian Loider). Pluural : Die Leitern ( swabian Loidra)./Only in case of leader , Leiter is the same in singular and plural.

@HolgerJakobs : Excuse me, after two ,Bockbier' i wrote strange things. When Mutter means mother, the plural is Mütter, when Mutter means nuts ( Schraubenmutter) the plural is Muttern. Yes. But ,bei Muttern' ,a north german saying ,doesn' t mean ,Schraubenmutter'.

@golden.lights.twinkle2329 : A sidenote from Germany: In Standard German, which replaces the dialects more and more, a horse is Pferd, and a goat a Ziege. For an english speaker not recognizeable. But elderly people still use Ross ( Roß) or Geis/ Gois. In case of Standard German goose/ geese is Gans/ Gänse, but in my dialect it is Gaas/ Gees ( german pronounciation).
