  2. The term sturmfrei was once once a military term for a fortification ( Fortress/ Burg) build at a place/ location where an assault was nearly impossible. For example some austrian forttesses at italian border before 1914 had only cannonworks, but no infantry outworks for Close defence , because they had been build on top of high rocks.
