  3.  @RobWords  : In german we have the nowadays very rare Eiland. , Land at/ near the water' is in most parts of Germany ,Au' which is in northern/ low german ,ey' for example in german island Norderney , but also Jersey. Sidenote : Some kilometers away there is the small town Owen ( spoken Auen) which is confusing strangers, because they speak Owen Owen( german way) and don' t expect ,Auen'.
