@tomdh8394 : William the conquerer was Norman, this means, he was a ,frenchified' Viking, so scandinavian or northern germanic. In Germany, i am german, the Vikings are sometimes also called Nordmänner.

I do not agree with the creator of this video. The reason? The creator of this video speaks of , germanic' not german. As far as i know, the anglo-saxons (coming from , Low Germany'), the Normans ( romaniced vikings) and Danes ( who ruled for aGe short time in England) are ALSO germanic people. Also Ireland was attacked by vikings and partly ruled. So the germanic ( not german!) part of ,blood' of the royal british family must be higher, and the british/ irish ( celtic) part of ,blood ' must be lower than shown in this video. Germanic and german is not the same , we Germans do not have this problem, because we call us ,deutsch'.

UsefulCharts : Your videos are rather interesting, i don' t want to critizise your work. I only wanted to note, that german and germanic is not the same. Of course i do not believe the aric race nonsens of former times. In fact, the British people are celtic people, mixed with a lot of germanics and some romanics. The french are celtic mixed with a lot of romanics and some germanics. We germans are germanics, mixed with slavics in notheast and some celtics and romanics in southwest. So a citizen of a coutry sometimes is more ,foreign' by DNA than by culture..
