  1. A sidenote: In Great Brittain Wales exists, in Switzerland Wallis exists. From view of germannic Anglosaxons the inhabitants of Wales speak no germannic language, from view of germannic Alemannen the people of Wallis speak no germannic language. Welsh/ Welsch once meant , not germannic' both in english and german.
