  1. I, Brittas boyfriend, am german, but for bad eyes reason, i never served in german army. Years ago, two coworkers, one from Western, one from Eastern Germany had a discussion, which german army before 1990 was better. The one, who served in Westgerman Army, thought, Bundeswehr was better , because of more modern equipment. I , as a pure theoretic, didn' t thought so, because russian equipment saw combat everywhere between north and southpole, westgerman equipment never saw combat. Russian trained soldiers knew field service problems of their equipment, Western soldiers often Not. I noted also mentality differences between westgerman and eastgerman soldiers/ forces. At the end of my ,speech' the coworker seving in Westgermany became silent, the one serving in Eastgermany smiled.
