  2.  @TitusFFM  : A longer time ago, in a german magazine i read an article about a german military training ground ( Truppenübungsplatz). Formerly there was a village at this training ground, there are still existing houses, which are repaired from time to time, that soldiers can train fighting in/around houses. In the noted article was written, that US soldiers said, regarding houses from 18th or 19th century, it is unusual that we can do military training in such old houses, in USA this would be a historic museum site.
