@MrPanos2000 : On paper, the Reichswaffengesetz of 1938 was liberal. When in 1951(52) it was again allowed for german civilians, to own weapons again, a denazified version of Reichswaffengesetz 1938 was used, and up to 1969 or 1972, .22 rifles had been allowed, perhaps also shptguns. Göring was a hunter, and had been ,Reichsjägermeister', so i think, for hunters , being in a hunting Organisation, there was no problem. Members of target shooters organisations i think had also no problems, but target shooting was militarized. Also blankguns and cheap muzzleloaders could be owned. I think persons, the Nazis did not like or persons , which wanted to be new first time owners of weapons got the largest problems.
