  2. A small mistake. Feldartillerie/ field artillry was Not alsways mounted, this was Reitende Artillerie ( mounted artillry). But , Fahrende Artillerie ' ( driving artillry also existed . Here only the commanding officer was mounted, the gunners sat on march next to drivers of guns and ammunition carts.

  3. A Note: During 16th century up to 1918 the term Landsturm existed . In early time, this had been badly trained and armed militias, after 1815 this term was used for units of welltrained, but older soldiers.

  4.  @caspar_van_walde  : My comment had only the Intention, to not generalize language use ( in this Case the difference between a natural grown dialect, in contrast to Scientific created Standard German).

  5.  @caspar_van_walde  : I am a rural man, i only use the Computer of my girlfriend too. I have an Asperger disorder, and don' t like to travel much, because i need a standardiced life for my psychical health. In case of writing, ii of course only use Standard German. But in daily life, i use Standard German only, when foreigners ( including , Prussians' ) don' t understand me. My swabian dialect is NO wrong german, IT IS only unstandardized German. I , being at Gymnasium up to 10th Grade/ class, hate it , when Standard German speaking people , especially from the North think, they are better than i. I hate it, when Towns folk, thinks, they are better than me, a man of farmers background I hate it, when , elite' lazybones think, they are better than ,working class' people, and i hate it, when left idiots think, they have eaten wisedom with a spoon and are better than a conservative, tradition respecting man. For this reason, respecting my ancestors and tradition, i continue to speak my dialect. I know, in may be ten years, i can sit in Stuttgart Zoo ( Wilhelma) with a sign : Swabian, dying out species', but that' s my, not your problem.
