In India a newcreated Webley company , claiming using leftover Webley machines , poduces tip down revolvers again. Also an indian state owned company produces a Webley style Revolver.. But for reason of indian gunlaw, only in .32 S&W long. I am german, and according to a german arms magazine, german forces of wwll used captured british revolvers ( Dünkirchen and Northern Africa) with 9mm Parabellum/ Luger as emergency weapon. The revolvers had .38 S&W./.38/200, and 9mm Parabellum/ Luger IS rimless. So some german soldiers used a Tool called Zange ( don't know english word) and transformed bottom of 9mm cartidge that IT don' t fall through chambers of cylinder. The writer of article assumed, that smaller Diameter of 9mm bullet caused a reduction of pressure. But, Germany was never a revolver nation, so i think , only few german soldiers used a captured british revolver.

@82ismi : As far as i know,, it was replaced in 1904 by Navy, and 1908 by Army with Luger/ Parabellum pistol. So i assume, that after 1908 the production of this revolvers for officers and civilians by german and in smaller numbers also belgian companies slowly ended. For civilian/ officers market also versions in double- action, ejectors and fingerhooks at trigger guard existed. But at this time the Reichsrevolver was really dated, so i assume, not sold Reichsrevolver became what we germans call , Ladenhüter ' ( literally shopguard- meaning an Item, nobody wants to buy anymore) in some gunstores Up to end of wwll. During wwl Reichsrevolver was used for rearline units, Police ( and other armed Personal of civilian Administration). Cartidges ( only blackpwder) have been, according to german arms magazines , produced Up to may be 1930. Also according to german arms magazines, last Reichsrevolver being in DARK corners of Arsenals Had been given to Volkssturm. Also according to german arms magazines, 10, 4 mm Italian, in small numbers sometimes produced by Fiocci company , can be used as Substitute for 10, 6 mm GERMAN. BUT: I DON' T know IF THIS IS TRUE.
FROM A REPLICA OF THIS REVOLVER I HAVE NEVER HEARED. WHO WOULD BUY THIS? IN GERMANY GUNLAW BECOMES MORE AND MORE RESTRICTIVE, MORE AND MORE GUNOWNERS FEAR, IN SOME YEARS GUNOWNING COULD BE FORBIDDEN. ( AM NO GUNOWNER). IT SEEMS, MY COMPUTER HAS A PROBLEM, SO I STOP MY COMMENT.
