  1. SIG: Schweizer Industriegemeinschaft ( Swiss Industrial Community). They started with producing railway wagons and later packing machines ( they invented chocolade slabs packing machines) and weapons. At an owners change, the new owner wanted no weapons production and sold most oft the weapon branch, but packing machines, railway wagons and other civilian things are still in production.
