@thif4722 : This had been civilian production, the armies of the four german kingdoms gave contracts to different arms companies, because the Revolver was not developed by a commercial company. But also other companies ,german and belgian , produced versions of this revolver. This versions had been often different to standardized military version. There had been versions with ejector, double action, trigger guard finger hook, different handles. In those days officers had to buy saber and revolver from their own money, so revolvers in 10,6 mm Deutsche Ordonnanz had been allowed for german officers, also if they had not been the standard model. So some officers had more modern revolvers. Same with their sabers/epees, the IOD 89. Rich officers, of high rank, nobility or factory owners background bought sabers with decorated blades and handles.
