  3.  @spyczech  : The first eurpeans, reaching Japan had been the Portugiese, the Dutch came later. In the 200 years of japanese isolation, only few dutch traders lived on a small island in an japanese Harbor. I know, that the Portugiese sold firearms to Japan, but the Dutch? I don' t know.
