@theimmortal4718 : I think, this thing is not a selfdefence weapon, to slow to use it, when you are attacked. In Victorian age/ fin de siecle Europe, the mens acessoir cane would be better.

@khaelamensha3624 : Matt Easton from ,Scholagladiatora' channel has in edged weapons community a reputation like Ian in firearms community. He is sceptic about sword canes, they have no guard. Also, in case of a surprise attack, you perhaps can' t push the locking button, some canes had.

@khaelamensha3624 : You are right, not every situaton and opponent is the same. I, Brittas boyfriend, only one time carried my light french cane to defend a lady if necessary. For good luck, nothing happened, good for me, i am not a fighter.

In case of german weapons terminology the blade is a Dolch/ dagger. In my country folding blades in dagger shape are only allowed one sided sharpened. But few weeks ago, new law came, which bans carrying a real knife. Public security will rise ( politicians oppinion, not mine).
